About Us

Hi! My name is Jaap and welcome to ShrimpTips.com. This blog is the place where we tell you all about the pet shrimp. When I was young, I was lucky enough to have a beautiful aquarium. I had many fish and other aquatic creatures, and it gave me great joy watching them live in this fascinating underwater world I created. Later, when I went to college and moved into a student home, an aquarium wasn't very practical, I lost touch with the hobby I so enjoyed. Now many years later, I am rediscovering this hobby with my son. On this blog, I share all the things we learn about our pet shrimp and more.
